We are a team of three young(ish) consultants, inspired by our professional and volunteer work in the nonprofit sector, who came together with the goal of doing more as a collective group than we could individually. Briana Carrigg, Founding Partner & Grant Writer
As a former fundraising professional for local, national and international organizations, Briana has over 12 years of experience in grant writing, marketing and special events.
Prior to Brightspot, Briana was an independent grant consultant, working with organizations of all types and budget sizes in Maine and New Hampshire. Briana provides comprehensive grant support to her clients in the form of prospecting, grant writing, tracking, and reporting.
Briana is a board member for Veterans Martial Arts Training and a member of the Seacoast Rotary Club in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Education: B.A., Sociology, Bowdoin College
When not working: Briana lives in Rye, New Hampshire, with her son Max, and her husband, Rob. She loves spending time in her hometown of Sorrento, Maine, and enjoys playing tennis.
Caitlin Delaney, Founding Partner
After starting her career like most millennials, in an unpaid internship in Brooklyn, today, Caitlin brings more than 10 years of nonprofit and consulting experience to Brightspot. Early career highlights include managing the Clinton Foundation's headquarters office, conducting benchmarking studies of a national mentoring organization, and designing and developing programs to support children of prisoners around the world. More recent highlights include five years of development and strategy consulting throughout Maine and New Hampshire, where she's worked on more than a half-dozen capital campaigns, ranging in size from $3-$12 million across all sectors. Caitlin enjoys designing fundraising programs (sponsorship, major gifts, planned gifts), strengthening and engaging boards, and leading strategic planning.
Caitlin is a board member at the Joan G. Lovering Health Center in Greenland, NH.

When not working: Caitlin - not to be confused with her twin sister, Erin - can be found in Rye, New Hampshire, with her husband, Patrick and daughters, Jojo and Fran. She is a lapsed yoga teacher, dedicated knitter, and wanna-be donut shop owner.
Kelly Delekta, Founding Partner
As a former fundraising and nonprofit management professional, Kelly has extensive experience in development, board management, and overall organizational leadership. Most recently, she led a transformation of Cambridge-based José Mateo Ballet Theatre’s development operation, growing revenue by 45 percent and significantly expanding the role of the board in fundraising. As a consultant, Kelly works closely with organizations of all sizes to create development strategies that are tangible and actionable. She aims to take the fear out of fundraising for both staff and boards, offering trainings that provide organic approaches to cultivating, asking, and thanking donors.
Kelly is a volunteer at the New Hampshire Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and a member of the Seacoast Women’s Giving Circle.
Education: B.A., Creative Writing & Dance, Hamilton College
When not working: Kelly lives in Portsmouth with her husband. She loves to travel (anywhere), hike (tiny mountains), read (poetry and British mysteries), and watch the NHL (New York Rangers).
